Rich Godshall, Pennsylvania impressionist painter, is best known for his evocative paintings of the beautiful Bucks and Montgomery County landscapes as well as the Jersey shore. Working primarily in acrylic, he also paints in oil and watercolor focusing more on the light and mood of a scene rather than just a literal interpretation. Having been raised in Northeast Philadelphia he attended Hussian School of Art graduating in 1975. Rich then had a long career in the graphic arts field as an illustrator and designer before leaving commercial art in 2002 to open Off The Wall Gallery & Framing in Skippack, PA. He has taught watercolor and acrylic painting classes at Abington Adult Evening School for several years. Rich's paintings are included in many private collections throughout the northeastern U.S.
