I graduated from Rutgers University in 1966, followed by a career in management with Prudential Insurance and retired in 1994.
I began painting in 1995, taking occasional classes with various Bucks County artists, however I am essentially self-taught. Initially I worked in pastel and watercolor and soon changed to oils, which have remained my preferred medium.
My paintings depict rural landscapes, farm animals and wildlife, covered bridges and other historical structures. My objective is to capture and preserve the rich heritage and bountiful beauty of the area in and adjacent to Bucks County.
My work is described as realistic impressionism, vivid in color and a strong sense of dimension and presence.
